Dominican Republic – Punta Cana – Playa Bavaro
The Grand Palladium Bavaro is situated on the realy beautiful Playa Bavaro. There are a lot of palm trees at the beach, white and powdery soft sand and the waves are great for swimming, the sea ist really warm, and clear, but sure, not the right place for snorkelling. There are a bunch of little bars on the beach so you can always get a drink or a cocktail. The beach chair situation, there is definitely a problem with beach chair reservations. The early bird gets the worm, it seems so. The animation team teach dancing, or beachvolleyball, or make aerobic at the beach every morning and have a lot of fun with the guests. The Kayaks, Windsurfing, Pedlo’s are free on the beach for as long as you like, there is always something to do. The range of sports on the beach is great, there for every day of your vacation, its impossible to get bored. You also can enjoy a massage on the beach, this is really very relaxing. There are Sellers at the beach, the guys from the watersports centre selling trips, banana boats, parasailing etc. who are totally trustworthy and polite. Next to the hotel, left side is a small shopping area, the range is extensive, cigarettes, cigars, rum, Lime dolls, paintings, souvenirs in all variants and much more, there is a small town, named El Cortecito behind the shopping area you can go too. You can walk for miles in either direction, if you’d like, and you can see a lot of other hotels and resorts located on Bavaro Beach.
