Beach Photos from Ocean Blue and Ocean Sand Resort, Punta Cana
The Ocean Blue Golf & Beach Resort is situated on the beautiful sandy Playa Bavaro between the Iberostar and the VIK Arena Blanca. On the beach is the beach restaurant and Snack Bar, open for lunch and snacks and there is also a small beach bar. The range of sports on the beach is great, beach volleyball, snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing, banana boat, wall climbing, fishing, water ski,…some of it is included, some of it you have to pay. For activites look at the daily activity schedule and pick up the daily post. The beach area of Ocean sand is really beautiful, sunbeds and sunshades are plentiful, palmtrees, there are only a few and palapas are missing, it`s pity. Next to the hotel, left side is a small shopping area on the beach, maybe 5 minutes to go. The range is extensive, cigarettes, cigars, rum, Lime dolls, pictures, souvenirs in all variants, beach clothing, …the whole is somewhat expensive, but no matter. If you walk down the beach towards the right (40 minutes) you will come to another beach mini mall and it has a small town behind it you can go too. If your to tired to walk back, just take a water taxi. This was also a lot of fun and you could see all the hotels along the way. You can walk on the beautiful beach, much miles in either direction.
